Raleigh, N.C. (April 21, 2026) – 321 Coffee, a North Carolina specialty coffee roaster dedicated to workforce inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), is proud to announce its upcoming launch in Costco across North Carolina, including all Triangle locations. 

Beginning April 26, Costco members will be able to purchase 321 Coffee during a limited-time trial across all clubs in North Carolina. This expansion brings high-quality, specialty coffee to thousands of new households while advancing 321 Coffee’s mission to champion disability inclusion. Building on previous retail milestones with Whole Foods Market, Wegmans, Food Lion, this launch marks a significant step toward scaling its inclusive model in mainstream retail environments.

321 Coffee currently has over 50 employees across its roastery, coffee shops, and mobile coffee cart in Raleigh. From roasting beans to making lattes, team members with IDD are involved in every step of the process. Together they are demonstrating the value and capability of an inclusive workforce.

We scaled production five times over for several weeks, and while our recent roastery expansion gave us the capacity, it was our team that made it happen. This is what we’ve been building toward.
