1 gram of coffee for every 17 grams of water
Recommended: 20 grams of coffee for 350 grams of water (Makes 12 oz. of Coffee)

Steps and Preparation
Step 1
Weigh or measure the desired amount of coffee. If you don’t have a scale, 1 tablespoon of coffee beans or ground coffee is about 5 grams of coffee
Grind the coffee to a coarse consistency.
Heat an appropriate amount of water to 200 - 205 degrees. If you don't have a kettle with a thermostat, you can boil water and then let it cool for 30-60 seconds.
Step 2
Add ground coffee to French Press carafe and level the grounds.
Step 3
Begin timer and gently pour half of your hot water into French press over coffee grounds.
For example, if you use 20 grams of coffee, pour 175 grams of water.
Step 4
After one minute, gently stir.
Step 5
Add the remaining hot water to the French press.
For example, if you use 20 grams of coffee, pour the remaining 175 grams of water.
Step 6
Secure lid to the French Press.
Allow coffee to steep for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 6
After time has passed, slowly press down on the plunger and pour out the coffee.
