Supplies
Automatic Drip Coffee Maker
Coffee Filters
Scale or Measuring Spoon
Grinder
Coffee
Water (filtered, if possible)
Ratio
1 gram of coffee for every 17 grams of water
Recommended: 55 grams of coffee for 935 grams (1 quart) of water (Makes 32 oz. of Coffee)
Grind Type
Medium Coarse

Steps and Preparation
Step 1
Weigh or measure the desired amount of coffee.
If you don’t have a scale, 1 tablespoon of coffee beans or ground coffee is about 5 grams of coffee
Step 2
Grind the coffee to a medium coarse consistency and add the ground coffee to a filter in the brewer’s coffee basket. Level the grounds.
Step 3
Measure the desired amount of water and add to the Automatic Drip Coffee Brewer
Step 4
With the coffee grounds in the coffee basket and the carafe under the brewer, begin brewing the coffee.
Step 5
Once the coffee has finished brewing, discard the filter and grounds.
