321 Coffee Announces Partnership with Pendo, ‘Fuels’ Jobs For Individuals with Disabilities

321 Coffee is proud to announce that we’ll be opening a private cafe in the new Pendo Headquarters! 321 Coffee will run and operate a coffee bar exclusively for Pendo employees on the 19th floor of the new Raleigh Crossing tower in downtown Raleigh, featuring a special menu of Pendo-inspired specialty drinks. We are so proud that 321 will be a part of Pendo’s everyday work experience.

The 321 team is all smiles and a little goofy on wooden bleachers in front of a pink wall reading "Pendo" in white letters.

Aaron Davis, one of 321’s baristas, said that he isn’t going sleep the entire month of January in anticipation for the new opening.

“We are excited about the opportunity to take our partnership with Pendo to the next level,” says 321’s CEO, Lindsay Wrege. “It’s my hope that the collaboration between 321 Coffee and Pendo serves as a catalyst for other companies to spark creative partnerships and recognize opportunities to make an impact in their industries. Whether with us or other diverse suppliers, there is a lot of good that can happen when a company creates a win-win partnership.”

As one of the first companies to champion 321 Coffee, Pendo started using 321 as their coffee supplier in 2020. From supplying coffee beans and nitro cold brew in their offices to collaborating on an exclusive roast blend called Rocketfuel, Pendo’s partnership with 321 Coffee showcases its commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs doing good in the community and providing the opportunity for Pendo employees and guests to interact with individuals with disabilities. It is bridging the gap between employees and people with disabilities.

321 Coffee is very excited for the impact it will make for individuals with disabilities. It expects the partnership to create up to 10 new jobs for adults with IDD in early 2022 as they begin additional coffee service to Pendo employees. “I’m proud of how 321 Coffee has been able to successfully create jobs and employ individuals with disabilities in our company. As we expand, we want to help other companies, like Pendo, employ people with disabilities into their workforce and culture. This is how we can truly scale our impact and create systemic change towards workforce inclusion.”

“I’m really excited to partner with 321 Coffee,” said Todd Olson, CEO and co-founder of Pendo. “Not only do they roast and make amazing coffee, but they create opportunities for individuals in our community who are often overlooked. Their mission is inspiring and makes our community better.”

We’d like to extend a major shoutout to Pendo for walking the walk towards DEI and using their business to make an impact.
